Wolfs Conservation and Restoration

An egg from the extinct elephant bird.

Approximate size:
Ca. 30cm. long

Broken in to very many pieces. In the past there have been several attempts to bond the pieces back together, none very successful. At least three different types of old adhesive were found all over the pieces.

Suggested treatment:
The object was cleaned and the old glue removed before it was pieced together.
