Wolfs Conservation and Restoration

A Leerdam glass sculpture of a head; the object is part of a lamp. Designed by C.C. van Asch van Wijck, the Netherlands, 1929.

Approximate size:
Height: ca. 30cm.

The object was dirty and on the bottom left corner a chip had broken off and was bonded back in an unsatisfying manner.

Suggested treatment:
Object was cleaned and old restorations were removed. The chip was bonded back in place and a colored fill was made to further fill up the break.
